Solomon Means was born and raised in Stockton.
Attended Lincoln High School in Stockton, CA.
Totaled double-digit pass deflections as a high school senior
Played wide receiver and defensive back in high school and caught 20 passes for 172 yards with one touchdown
Finished second on the team in receptions behind eventual All-Pac-12 receiver Brandin Cooks
Added 18 tackles, 12 passes defended, four interceptions and two fumble recoveries
Initially signed with Weber State out of high school before attending Butte College
Coached by Brian Gray at Lincoln High

Appeared in 23 games with three starts
Recorded 28 tackles, including 21 solo and one for loss, and had three pass deflections
Earned his bachelor of interdisciplinary studies degree in communications and sociology in May 2015

REDSHIRT SENIOR (2015):
Appeared in 12 games with two starts
Registered 22 tackles, including 19 solo and one for loss, and added three pass deflections
Started the team's final two Pac-12 games vs. Arizona and at Cal, and recorded 12 total tackles
Registered a career-best seven tackles, including five solo, in the regular-season finale at Cal (11/28)
Notched five solo tackles in the Devils' Territorial Cup win against Arizona (11/21)

REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2014):
Played in 10 games for the Sun Devils and started the first game of the season
Registered six tackles on the season
Made his first career start in the opener against Weber State (8/28), logging two tackles

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2013):
Added depth to the defensive backfield and appeared in one game

BUTTE COLLEGE:
Totaled double-digit pass deflections as a junior college redshirt freshman, the same college that gave ASU recently departed senior receiver Rashad Ross
Recorded 38 tackles, a team-high 12 passes defended including one interception
Clocked a 4.53 40-yard dash
Committed to ASU on Feb. 6, 2013, National Letter of Intent Signing Day
